David Carlisle
Entrepreneur - A former pilot and senior aviation manager. Founder of ETS Aviation; a market-leading green business that met the challenge of reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency with the aviation sector. Now part of The Boeing Company.
Craig Simmons
Sustainability expert - A leading environmental expert, with over 30 years of experience, Craig co-founded the Queen's Award winning consultancy Best Foot Forward in 1997 and was a co-founder - in 2013 - of Anthesis Group, which acquired BFF.
He also co-founded the successful Californian sustainability software company Footprinter in 2011. Craig has co-authored several books and advises a number of leading companies, governmental and non-governmental agencies.
Julia Papenhausen fuster
Chief researcher - Julia has got a degree in landscape ecology and is currently finishing her master thesis in human ecology.
To finance her studies and further gather practical experience, she has worked as a field and hike guide, guiding field expeditions, exploring ecosystems and gathering data. She has also helped founding the rewilding NGO Sylvester, supporting the organisation with her experience measuring ecosystem services and ecological processes.
Julius Wenzel
Socio-Economist - While studying Socio-Economics he gets involved in a wide variety of projects combining technology and sustainability. Julius has founded his own NGO combining blockchain and rewilding. In his free time Julius likes to do any kind of activity outdoors, as well as creating inspiring digital content.
Chris Ringrow
Software engineer - Chris worked for 3 years for the European Space Agency (ESA) in Germany before returning to the UK to work as a consultant in embedded systems. He became technical director of i2i Solutions, a leader in Export documentation systems. Chris helped in the development of products for ETS Aviation and Jeppesen. Latterly he has developed high performance audio and video recording and replay products for the Air Traffic Control sector. Chris holds a 1st class honours degree in Electronic Engineering.
Simon Price
Software engineer - Si has worked in the high-tech industry for over 30 years, including AMD in California, and Jeppessen Ltd in the UK. He has run his own consultancy and software development companies both in the USA and the UK. He was one of the founding members of ETS Aviation. He holds three patents and has published a number of technical articles. He has a BSc in electronic engineering and a PhD in real-time computer graphics. His interests include cycling, woodwork and photography.
